Researchers Build a Vibrating Glove to Treat Stroke Symptoms

Post-stroke recovery can be a long process. Researchers are always working on way to make life easier dealing with post-stroke symptoms. Stanford, Georgia Tech researchers’ latest project is a vibrating glove that could improve hand function after a stroke.  It gently stimulates the wearer’s hand several hours a day.

The glove stimulates the nerves and improves both sensation and function in the survivors’ hands and arms. According to the researchers, a variation of the product can be developed to treat patients with impaired gait.
