This is the UNI-ONE from Honda: a personal mobility device with advanced self balancing sensors that allows users to move any direction by adjusting their posture. It has a seat that can be raised and lowered. It lets users move forward, backward, and sideways as well as turn around completely hands-free.
This personal mobility device uses two Omni Traction Drive Systems (HOT Drive System). It is smart enough to estimate he user’s intentions based on his/her posture. This video shows how it can be combined with a VR headset for immersive gaming.
