Teleoperating robots from a safe distance is much easier with the Shadow Teleoperation System. It comes with 5-finger dexterous hands that can mimic the operator’s motions. The fingers, thumbs, and wrists are fully actuated. This system has 20 degrees of freedom and 129 sensors.
The robot’s fingers can pivot, slide, and move in the same directions as human fingers. With fingertip sensors, the operator can feel pressure, force, temperature and vibrations. The Shadow Teleoperation System can be taught with AI to perform autonomously.
