FlexVR Portable Robotic Surgery Simulator

Thanks to FlexVR, students can now learn what it takes to control robot surgeons. It is a portable robotic surgery simulator that teaches students camera control, instrument manipulation, suturing, and other tasks.

FlexVR provides users guidance and performance tracking. It uses the same MSim psychomotor skills software found on the dV-Trainer and da Vinci Skills Simulator. It also supports Mimic’s Maestro AR program to teach different robotic procedures.
