2014 is going to be the year of smartwatches. Whether they will be as popular as some of these companies are estimating is another story. You can now add ASUS to the list of companies making smartwatches. ASUS is working to create a feature packed smartwatch. Here is what Asustek Chairman Jonney Shih had to say about this:

I personally consider smartwatches to be highly overrated in a world that smart glasses will dominate. It could take us a few years but so far, we have simply not seen a smartwatch worth owning. Can ASUS change that? We will have to wait and see.
