Sony already has smartwatches you can buy. But as Bloomberg has reported, the company is relying on a watch made out of electronic paper. The watch’s face and band will be made from a patented material that allows the entire surface area to function as a display and change its appearances. The report suggests that the watch will not try to outdo offerings like the Apple Watch. The battery life will certainly be longer than what current smartwatches offer. It will be interesting to see how successful this watch will be.
