Magic Leap & ILMxLAB Working On Star Wars Holograms

Magic Leap’s technology looks quite amazing, but not every detail about it is known. Thanks to the company and Lucasfilm’s ILMxLAB, soon you will be able to experience holographic Star Wars characters. This video of R2-D2 and C-3PO holograms was captured without any special effect:

The goal is to build immersive experiences for virtual/augmented/mixed reality platforms. We still don’t know when exactly Magic Leap’s technology will ship though.
