LG webOS SmartWatch Coming

LG already has a couple of interesting smartwatches. But the company is not putting all its eggs in the Android Wear basket. As the Verge has reported, LG is planning to use webOS in a new smartwatch. The operating system has already been used in LG smart TVs, but could now get another shot in the wearable market. Considering that Samsung has taken similar steps with Tizen, this is not a surprising move.

We are not sure when the webOS LG SmartWatch will see the light of day. Will LG bail on Android Wear any time soon? That is not clear at this time.
