Brown University Researchers Control Robots Through VR

Teleoperation of robots is nothing new. There are plenty of researchers working on perfecting that. Brown University Researchers are working on a VR control system for robots that relies on a virtual reality headset and body sensors to allow operators to control robots from a distance.

The system allows the operator to control the robot’s arms and legs. They can view all the action through the robot’s camera. The above video shows how it all works.
