AutoDietary: Food Tracking Wearable To Fight Diabetes

Many of us don’t maintain a proper diet and find it hard to stay healthy. Bad eating habits could lead to diabetes and other serious health issues. AutoDietary is an interesting wearable device that monitors caloric intake by listening as you eat.

The device has a tiny microphone to record sounds as you eat and swallow. The data is sent to a smartphone for further analysis. AutoDietary is not always accurate but has been still impressive in tests performed so far. It still remains a work in progress.
