Augmented Reality Lenses by Innovega

lenses

Google Glass is fun but I have always been fascinated with augmented reality lenses. It seems we won’t have to wait a decade to get them. Innovega could make this a reality in a couple of years. We are talking about special contact lenses that can read light from projectors fitted to glasses. Devices such as Google Glass may be exciting on the surface but the form factor is going to be an issue these companies need to work on.

Innovega will be back at CES with a fully functioning prototype. I expect we will see these AR lenses in 2015 or beyond. Let’s just say these wearable devices are not going anywhere.
