Standard Cyborg 3d Printed Leg – $499

3d printed

Who says prosthetic legs are too expensive? The folks at Standard Cyborg have a waterproof leg for you to use for only $499. You can wear it at the beach or by the pool without having to worry about damaging it. It makes life easier for amputees when taking a shower. The leg is 3D printed to fit you using composites used in aircraft manufacturing.

You get to use the suspension sleeve you already have. This shower/swim prosthesis lets you get in and out of the water safely. It is easy to clean as well. It’s nice to hear that the developers are thinking about developing an arm version of this.
