The Apple Watch is not going to ship until next year. But many of us have been dying to know how long it will last on a fully charged battery. The bad news is you are going to have to charge the device every night. Here is what Tim Cook had to say about that at the WSJ:D live conference:
We think people are going to use it so much you will end up charging it daily
That’s an optimistic way of looking at it. Having to charge a smartwatch on a daily basis is not going to be convenient. Most of us are not going to want to use our device all day long, so with a decent battery management system, a wearable like Apple Watch could technically last more than a day. But Mr. Cook did not mention what he meant by using “it so much.”
