We heard about GoBe’s campaign on Indiegogo a while ago. It was an exciting wearable device that automatically measures the calories you burn and consume. But does it? That claim is coming under question. We have to admit, we found the idea to be exciting. But was it too good to be true?

At crowdfundinsider.com has reported, project creators do not have a whole lot of online history for us to check. The campaign hails from San Francisco but the team is based in Russia. There are other issues with this campaign, but so far it is still active on Indiegogo. Its outcome is going to say a lot about Indiegogo’s reputation in the future though. It will be very interesting to see how this turns out.
