Will.i.am has a new smartwatch for people to try. The Dial is a voice-activated smartwatch that can send e-mails and text messages, play music, and track wearers’ daily activity. It has a SIM card, offering 4G connectivity. The goal of this device is to work without your phone. According to the singer, the device is made for situations where using a phone may not be situation.
The Dial will go on sale in the UK in April. Whether more people will get used to the idea of speaking to their wrist remains to be seen.
