Violet: Wearable Device Tracks Your UV Exposure

It goes without saying that getting some sunlight on your body is good for your health. You don’t want to overdo it though. Violet happens to be a wearable device that tracks your UV exposure and even measures sun-generated Vitamin D. The device monitors your real-time UV exposure and alerts you when your UV dosage approaches the limit.

The device sends you notifications about sun protection and the amount of time you need to spend out to reach your daily goal of sun generated vitamin D. It can track multiple users. The device is compatible with Android and iOS devices. You can get it on Kickstarter.
