Smart tennis sensors are nothing new. Sony is the latest company to launch a smart tennis sensor to help players improve their game. Sony has partnered with Wilson, Prince, and Yonex to offer real-time optimization of your play. The sensor is compatible with smartphones and tablets. The sensors features highly sensitive wave and motion detection to pick up multiple swing types, such as topspin forehand, slice forehand, volley forehand, topspin backhand, slice backhand, volley backhand, smash, and attack-style serves.

This smart tennis sensor is compatible with iOS and Android devices. It weighs 8 grams and measures 31.3mm in diameter. The memory can track up to 12000 shots. It will be available at Wilson.com for $2000 by the end of January 2015.
