SkinTrack: On Skin Tracking for Wearables

SkinTrack

Many of us use our smartwatches to stay connected. Their small display does not give you a whole lot of room to maneuver though. SkinTrack is an on skin touch tracking system for smartwatches that lets interaction to spill onto the skin. It consists of a signal emitting ring and a wristband with multiple electrodes.

SkinTrack can detect swipes and discrete touches. As the above video shows, users will be able to move through their apps with gestures on their skin. More information is available here.
