Sony is getting serious about smart glasses. The company has already released more information about the SmartEyeglass SED-E1 AR Glasses. But that product is not exactly something most people will want to wear. Sony’s Single-Lens Display Module is a bit different. It is a compact attachment that turns any eyewear into smart glasses. It has a high-resolution color OLED micro display to provide you with useful notifications and information when you need them.
Users will be able to track their workouts, get instructions, and keep up with their notifications in a hands-free fashion. The device features an electronic compass, an accelerometer, a touch sensor, and a 640 x 400-pixel resolution display. The above video shows Sony’s Single-Lens Display Module in action.
