In the past few years, we have seen plenty of interesting robots from the Shadow Robot company. Their teleoperation system allows seamless manipulation of objects. It can integrate with Polyphemus Based Tracker or a CyberGlove to mimic hand movements of its operator. The below video shows it in action:
