ReWalk Personal Exoskeleton System Now FDA Approved


The ReWalk, an innovative walking system for paraplegics, has now been approved by the FDA. This wearable robotic exoskeleton provides powered hip and knee motion to help people dealing with Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) to stand upright and walk. In other words, it can potentially change people’s lives.

Here is what Larry Jasinski, CEO of ReWalk Robotics, had to say about this:

For the first time individuals with paraplegia will be able to take home this exoskeleton technology, use it every day and maximize on the physiological and psychological benefits we have observed in clinical trials … This is truly the beginning of ‘ReWalking’ as a daily reality in the U.S

The ReWalk Personal System is available to folks who meet requirements from a medical examination. Some training is also required.
