Fitness tracking wearables are becoming quite popular these days. But they are not super cheap. The folks at Pivotal Living are introducing a wearable device that costs you nothing upfront. The catch? You have to pay $12 a year for its companion mobile app to get started. This is essentially the first free smart wearable device.
The Life Tracker 1 can track your steps, help you set goals, and sync stats to the companion app. The Life Tracker 1 reminds you to be active if you have been idle for too long. It can also wake you up with gentle vibrations. Not sure how well this strategy will work, but the idea is interesting, don’t you think?
