Kurio Watch: Bluetooth Smartwatch for Kids

There are plenty of smartwatches available for adults these days. These types of gadgets could also prove useful to kids. KD Group, which is behind kid-safe Android and Windows tablets, has announced a Bluetooth smartwatch for kids ages 6 to 12. The Kurio Watch has a touchscreen and customizable interface. It comes with 128 MB of internal memory (expandable by a microSD card). It comes with a camera, music player, microphone, speaker, an accelerometer, and various apps and games.

Kids will be able to customize their Kurio watch face and wallpaper. The companion app is available for Android smartwatches or tablets. The device has a range of up to 50 feet. The product will be available in fall of 2016 for under $60.
