Microsoft HoloLens Development Edition: How to Get It

The Microsoft HoloLens Development Edition is not going to be cheap, but if you are serious about mixed reality development, you may want to get your hands on one before the consumer version is released. So how do you qualify for one? For starters, you need to pay $3000. You also have to be a developer in the U.S and a Windows Insider. Here is how it works:

The more you share in your application form, the easier it will be for us to see how you’ll help build the future of holographic computing with us, one inspired idea at a time… Starting in January, accepted applicants will be invited to pre-order the Development Edition. Then, the first devices will ship in the first quarter of 2016.
