It is no secret that many doctors are planning to use devices such as Google Glass to interact with their patients in the future. Google Glass can be a lifesaver for patients dealing with certain diseases like Parkinson’s. In fact, researchers at Newcastle University are already testing Google Glass to support people dealing with that disease.

Google Glass can be used to remind patients to take their medication on time and keep up with their appointments. Patients are also prompted to speak to prevent drooling. The project is in an early stage at this point, but it does show that Glass can be a lifesaver if used the right way.
