Forerunner 225: GPS Running Watch + Heart Rate Monitor

Garmin is behind some interesting watches and GPS solutions. The Forerunner 225 happens to be Garmin’s first GPS running watch with wrist-based heart rate monitoring. It uses the Mio Heart Rate Technology to measure your heart rate without a chest strap and help you stay in the right zone.

The Forerunner 225 watch tracks your distance, pace, and other important information. You can set up your zones and customize your watch to fit your needs. The built-in accelerometer tracks your distance indoors. You can upload your data to Garmin Connect and share it with others. The watch will sell for under $300.
