Fast Mind-Reading Typing Tool for Paralyzed People

Here is a mind-reading typing tool that enables people who are paralyzed to type quick. A tiny surface is implanted onto the surface of the user’s brain that records data from the motor cortex. The computer simply records her thoughts and moves the cursor around the screen.

According to New Scientist, a writing speed of 40 letters per minute can be achieved with this system.
