In the future, you may not have to carry a bulky phone or wearable around to access your data. Take this e-skin technology developed by Takao Someya and his team at the University of Tokyo for instance. It can be laid over your skin to display vital signs and important data (when connected to sensors). It has LEDs that last for days and don’t require a whole lot of power.
The above video gives you a better idea how this technology works. The team behind this project is working to display even more data on the e-skin. More information is available here.
