North America’s First Drop Tower VR Ride Launches at Six Flags Over Georgia

So you are ready to experience a drop tower VR ride? You are going to be happy to know that Drop of Doom VR, North America’s first-ever permanent drop tower ride, will debut at Six Flags Over Georgia near Atlanta on March 11.  Rider will have to wear a Samsung Gear VR powered by Oculus to pilot a virtual gunship under attack from mutant spiders.

The virtual ride ascends to 100 stories and lets you get a view from all directions. Riders also experience a 100-story plunge between skyscrapers.
