Bionic Leg with Tesla Coil Inside

Tesla coils are fun to watch and experiment with, especially if science and electricity are your thing. This artificial leg by Viktoria Modesta has a Tesla coil inside. The prosthetic leg, which was built by a team led by Anouk Wipprecht, has digitally controlled spark gaps.

A tiny Tesla coil is used to charge six spark gaps with 1000s of volts. This artificial leg also has a transparent guard.
