Apple is expected to unveil its first smartwatch on September 9. The device won’t be shipping until early 2015, but Apple will be covering what the device will offer. So how much is Apple going to charge for the iWatch? Re/Code is reporting that Apple is planning to charge as much as $400 for the iWatch. The company is expected to offer multiple models of iWatch and has not finalized its price yet.
It is highly doubtful that the entry level model will cost $400. Considering that Moto 360 and G Watch R will be much cheaper, Apple might struggle to convince people to buy a smartwatch at that price. Then again, Apple is not known for cheap products. The iWatch is expected to be compatible with HomeKit and HealthKit. Too bad it won’t be shipping any time soon.
