TurnCycle: Gesture Controlled Wireless Bike Signal

turncycle

Riding your bike is great for your body and mind. But you need to stay visible at all times, especially if you ride your bike at night. TurnCycle can help. It is a wearable system that consists of a wristband that wirelessly transmits your hand signals to an LED display mounted on your bike. There are no wires involved, so you can signal for turns and stops in a safe fashion.

Once you complete a hand gesture, bright LED arrows on the display units are activated via Bluetooth. The signal stays visible for 25 seconds, giving you just enough time to complete your turn. TurnCycle has a multi-axis accelerometer, an internal LED array, and Bluetooth. Like what you see? You can find out more on Kickstarter.
