There are already plenty of interesting virtual reality controllers in the works. This Tavor Weapon Simulator is a VR system that simulates an Israeli Tavor assault rifle, allowing users to get some practice handling one. It is combined with a Gemsense motion sensor to play a shooting game.
A Samsung Gear VR headset was used for this project.
