Police Body Cameras to Get Facial Recognition

More police officers will be wearing body cameras in the future to capture interactions with people. These cameras could get facial recognition if Motorola gets its way. It is working with Neurala to build a real-time person recognition system with machine learning.

The camera will learn shapes and faces by mimicking the mammalian brain. As Defense One explains, such technology can be used to find a person of interest by connecting body-worn cameras officers wear in a certain area.
