There are plenty of smart wearable devices that provide you with haptic feedback. Traditional haptic engines are a bit bulky though. Novasentis is working on a more compact solution. Their technology is based on electro mechanical polymers, allowing for thinner designs. By integrating their haptic film right into the strap of watches, wearers will be able to keep up with notifications without having to carry a bulky solution around.

These haptic wristbands will offer a wide range of haptic feedback, supporting different patterns. ARMdevices.net has the full story here.
