Many folks are not happy about having to charge their smartwatch once or more every day. That has been one of the negatives about the Moto 360. These smartwatches have gotten an over the air update that seems to have improved the battery life by as much as 50%. The update included Bluetooth tweaks, bug fixes, and a new charging notifications.
Interestingly enough, Motorola is not saying anything about any battery life improvement but folks on Reddit are all over this:
With the new update, my watch has been off the charger for 30 hours and I still have 53% left. This is nuts. I’m going to turn the ambient mode on after my next recharge to see how that fairs. Moto must have made a deal with our Lord Cthulhu on this software update.
It will be interesting to see what Motorola will have to say about this.
