Microsoft is planning to introduce a smartwatch as early as this summer, and it could be Android and iOS friendly. The device will have a number of sensors and can measure wearer’s heart rate continuously. As Forbes has reported, Microsoft is using Kinect engineers to prepare the device. The battery is expected to last up to 2 hours. The watch will look similar to Samsung Gear Fit and have a full-color touch screen. Considering that the market is about to explode, Microsoft’s entry at this time is a good move. Whether we will actually see this device by the end of Summer is not certain.
