Wearables are not just great for adults. They can prove useful for children too. Take the LG KizON for instance: this is a smart wristband that lets parents monitor the whereabouts of their young children. It uses GPS and WiFi to offer real-time location tracking to parents. Children can get in touch with their parents with a press of the One Step Direct Call button. The phone number it dials is configurable.
The LG KizON wristband has a microphone parents can use during emergencies to understand why their child is not answering a call. The device also has a Location Reminder feature, which gives adults the ability to preset the device to offer location alerts at specific times throughout the day.
