Most current smartwatches do not have a long battery life. That could change with the help of E-ink. We already know that Sony is working on a new e-paper smartwatch. It could also use E-ink to build other wearable devices. The watch weighs 50g and has a battery life of 60 days. Backers of the project will be getting their watch after May 2015. It will be interesting to see how this turns out.
