DIY: VU Meter Baseball Hat

diy

The folks at adafruit have published plenty of videos on DIY wearables in the past. Their latest project shows how you can build a VU Meter Baseball Hat. You will be adding sound-reactive NeoPixels to you baseball cap. The FLORA microcontroller takes input from the mic and activates the LEDs based on the volume in the room.

You are going to need a FLORA main board, 144-density NeoPixel strip, 500 mAh battery, and a few other things to complete this project. All the parts are listed on adafruit.com.
