DigniCap Reduces Hair Loss Related to Chemotherapy

DigniCap

Dealing with chemotherapy is challenging on its own. Having to deal with the hair loss related to it is not moral boosting either. DigniCap is a scalp cooling system that reduces hair loss related to chemotherapy for women with breast cancer. This FDA-cleared system comes with a silicone cooling cap and outer neoprene cap. Here is how it works:

The cap is fitted to the head, and the temperature of the scalp is lowered, resulting in vasoconstriction with reduced delivery of chemotherapy to the scalp, as well as reduced cellular uptake of drugs due to decreased intra follicular metabolic rate. These factors together reduce the risk of hair loss.

More information about this wearable system is available on Dignicap.com.
