Apple iWatch To Run 3rd Party Apps, Get App Store

iwatch

The iWatch may not ship soon, but it is expected to be announced soon. Just like Android Wear watches, the device is expected to run third-party apps. As 9to5Mac’s Mark Gurman has reported, Apple has already given a very select group of developers access to the SDK for the device. That means there will be many useful apps to try on the iWatch for Tuesday’s press conference. Apple is also expected to open an app store for the device. Developing for smartwatches can be a bit challenging at first, but it will be interesting to see how developers will cope with that.
